About Us

Welcome to the little corner of the web dedicated to Art Dolls Only!

We are a dedicated and active team of artists who create one-of-a-kind (OOAK) art dolls. Our team is made up of a wide variety of artists. Although our styles vary, we all have the heart of a doll-maker - each working hard to help bring shape to personalities that can't wait to reveal themselves.

Some of our members are very experimental, while others are more classic in their approach. We use a variety of media such as cloth, clay, wood, and other materials. But whatever the style, our goal is to encourage creativity and skill-sharing among members by exchanging information through our blog and forums -- and now our new website!

We also hope to increase awareness of art dolls in the greater artistic community. While some people might still equate dolls with toys, art dolls have been gaining recognition over the past thirty years.

Art dolls are not playthings, but rather art-pieces, and our group members have many opportunities to expose their work to the public via our new website, our blog, our group challenges and our promotion of each others work.
